Following her studies in law, French and Japanese in Münster, Lausanne and Paris, Elisabeth H. Jacobs-Jahrreiß worked as a lawyer in one of Tokyo’s most renowned legal offices, the Ochanomizu Law and Patent Office, and enjoyed more than five successful years as Head of HR, in-house lawyer and member of the Executive Board for the LVMH Group. In 1990, she founded JAHRREISS & PARTNER GmbH and established the first recruiting team in Munich.

Christian Jacobs studied psychology, ethnology and education. In 1991, his thesis was hailed by prominent German executive board members for being particularly innovative and, by 1998, he was already listed as one of Europe’s most innovative minds by the newspaper “Neue Züricher Zeitung”

He co-founded and initiated galleries and publishing companies in various fields of culture and in 2014, he founded a “cultural companion”. This cultural companion, Earnest & Algernon, considers itself a trendsetter for leaders of the current and the next generation. Numerous publications on strategy, the future of leadership, art, and cultural and social change have made him a popular speaker and participant of innovation labs, radio features and panel discussions. Above all, he advises leaders in the fields of culture, politics and economy in successful company management and the creation of companies focused on the common good.

In 2004, Elisabeth and Christian Jacobs decided to join forces professionally and found J&P. Together with their clients and an interdisciplinary team, they continue to move the company forward on a daily basis.
